This was our first time trying out kayaking and it was awesome! Our guides were Dan and Cam and they took such good care of our group. The river was beautiful and relaxing with several "class 1 rapids" which were just challenging enough and so much fun. We would definitely recommend this experience for everyone. Thanks!

Decent service, but the food has gone downhill substantially over the past year or so. Ambiance is pretty awful. Decent for the price. Best option in Clarkdale, though.
We booked a kayak rental/tour on the Verde River with Clarkdale Kayak Co. This was our first time with them. We enjoyed every aspect of the day. We started with a nice lunch at the small cafe that adjoins their office. The team was terrific in getting us signed in and ready for our trek. Colby was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about kayaking and the Verde River. The kayaking was splashy fun, enough rapids to make it interesting but not dangerous. The river and scenery was beautiful too. I'll definitely consider using them again for another trip. It would be a fun thing to do with family and friends are traveling to AZ.
